After relocating to Oklahoma in 2011 from Arizona, Zen Aesthetics and Wellness was co-created with the vision of combining our family members degrees and expertise creating a small spa in Edmond. Our vision was a relaxing spa, for lifting up your spirits as well as beauty enhancement. Our slogan "Beauty From The Inside Out" described our goal. We still believe in that slogan.
So, our spa journey began as our twin daughters graduated from University of Central Oklahoma with Business Administration & Accounting degrees. I would use my managerial experience for the overall project and our oldest daughter would use her expertise in aesthetics and lasers, my husband Dr. Jack Butler became the trump card for our endeavor and agreed to become an aesthetics injector and thus became our medical director. We opened our doors to our quaint little spa in 2015. Since that time, our spa with loyal client support has abundantly grown and we have been fortunate to find wonderful staff members to meet all of our clients needs.

Nina Butler, MS - Managing Director
Graduate of Oklahoma State University in Counseling, Psychometry and Health. I have worked in health and wellness my entire adult life. I am fortunate for all of the wonderful people that I have gained knowledge from and believe in functional medicine, nutrition, exercise and supplementation. I believe that it is important to surround yourself with positive people and find it imperative to use various modalities of healing therapies.

Jack Butler, DO - Medical Director
Graduate of Oklahoma State Osteopathic School of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Also, a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy and Fellow of American College of Osteopathic Medicine. I worked as an Internist and Hospitalist for the three decades in Arizona and Oklahoma. I started my journey in Aesthetics Medicine in 2015 as injector and Medical Director of Zen Aesthetics and Wellness.

Amber Whitworth, BA - Aesthetician, CLT
Graduate of Arizona State University and Southwest Natural School of Aesthetics and Lasers in Tempe, Arizona. I have worked in the field of aesthetics and lasers for the last 14 years and am currently pursuing my nursing degree. I believe that less is more and am extremely careful in my approach to treatments. I am a nationally certified laser specialist and offer a safe, yet powerfully productive treatments at Zen Aesthetics and Wellness.

Graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. I have worked in the field of health and wellness through college and after graduating became the receptionist, front office manager and book keeper for Zen Aesthetics and Wellness. I have been at Zen for 10 years.

Jessica Mathes, RN - Nurse Injector
Graduate of Oklahoma State University School of Nursing in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I have worked in the field of aesthetics since graduating from nursing school in 2008. I have had the opportunity to work in plastic surgery, which was extremely beneficial to understanding facial anatomy. I prefer a natural approach to injectables with quality enhancement of features. I am a seasoned injector offering numerous injectable treatments at Zen Aesthetics and Wellness.

Leasha Hudson Dyer, RN - Nurse Injector
After graduating with a bachelors degree in nursing from Oklahoma University I moved to San Antonio where I worked for a plastic surgeon in Breast Reconstruction for cancer patients. This humbling experience sparked my interest in aesthetics industry and I started my nurse aesthetics injector journey in 2019. My passion is to help people look and feel their best. I have 3 children and 2 fur babies who keep me on my toes. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, spending time with friends, family and cheering on my children in their many activities. I am available to help you understand procedures and will help you achieve a natural appearance.

Taylor Young - Aesthetician, CLT
Licensed esthetician, certified laser technician and skincare enthusiast. My passion for skincare began as a personal journey of my own struggles with acne. After experiencing the transformation power of a skilled esthetician, I decided to pursue my dream in esthetics and help others achieve long term skin health. I graduated from Entourage institute of Beauty and Esthetics in Kansas City in 2022 and worked at Hand and Stone Spa until joining Zen Aesthetics and Wellness in 2024. I acquired my laser certification from Oklahoma College of Aesthetics in Oklahoma City. I aim to meet my clients needs and hlep then achieve the skin they love.
